About Me

Jasmine is a young and aspiring student at the University of Mary Washington where she is majoring in Communications and Digital Studies.

I am currently looking for an entry-level position in the music industry, radio/television industry, sports industry for post-graduation.

I have event planning experience, comfortability in professional office space, and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Experience


Senior Student Coordinator of Publicity

In August of 2018 I started working in the Office of Student Activities and Engagement. Here I manage SAE’s social media accounts and send out our weekly newsletter, as well as handle office event promotions.

Summer Conference Assistant

For the summer of 2018 I worked for the University of Mary Washington and assisted in the coordination of our conference guests who visited campus.

Student Aid

From January of 2017 until mid-May 2018 I primarily worked for the Office of Annual Giving. I reached out to prospective donors via Phonathon and helped as part of the support staff for various events such as Giving Day where I acted as a student

Campus Programming Board

Since August 2015 I have held various positions including creating promotions, ensuring dressing room quality, and handling the booking process for our small and large-scale shows. Acts I have booked include: T-Pain, D.R.A.M., and X Ambassadors.

WMWC Campus Programming Board

For two years I managed the station’s social media accounts and show promotions while hosting my own weekly show Melon Madness where I interviewed musicians and discussed relevant topics to my listeners.

Blue & Gray Paper

For two semesters I wrote articles and was a photojournalist for the University of Mary Washington’s newspaper.

Student Intern

From May 2015 until January 2017, during various school breaks I
interned in Arlington, VA at the Office of the Arlington Country Treasurer where I was tasked with different projects in various departments.


Starting in March 2015 up until my departure to the University of Mary Washington I was a hostess at Clare and Don’s Beach Shack located in Fredericksburg, VA.

When you can do a common thing in an uncommon way; you will command the attention of the world.
